This role oversees installation, scheduling, workforce supervision, safety compliance, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans, codes, and company standards.
The Electrical Superintendent works closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate daily activities and resolve field challenges.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesReporting to the project or construction manager, organize and field manage electrical projects while implementing measures to increase effectiveness and efficiencyManage 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%Supervise 4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sitesIndependently start and manage projectsThrough managing your team, deliver against the highest standards for daily production, installation methodology, quality, and customer satisfactionHelp recruit, train, and develop foreman, journeyman, and apprenticesMaintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industryOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.Minimum QualificationsRequired:Have experience managing 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%Have demonstrated success supervising 2-4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sitesHave experience leading both large construction and data center projectsHave experience utilizing prefabricationBe willing to travel to a variety of job sites with incentivesEnjoy leading, developing, and recruiting a team and producing high quality electrical workmanshipBe motivated to continue your professional development to obtain LEED and NICET II certificationsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
