Traveling SuperintendentThe Traveling Superintendent is responsible for leading and executing field operations on complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects across the United States. This role serves as the senior on-site authority, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and to Enterprise Electrical's quality standards.The ideal candidate is a proven field leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional crew management skills, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to mobilize quickly to support national projects.RequirementsLead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projectsSupervise and coordinate field labor including apprentices, journeymen, foremen, and subcontractorsEnforce production plans, manpower loading, and workflow sequencingServe as the primary on-site liaison between Project Management, General Contractors, inspectors, and other tradesChampion Enterprise Electrical's "Safety First, Safety Always" cultureConduct daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site auditsEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and local authority codesProactively identify and mitigate jobsite risksInterpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and electrical schematicsCoordinate inspections, material deliveries, equipment staging, and subcontractor activitiesMonitor progress against schedule and proactively address field challengesMaintain daily reports, field logs, and production tracking using approved software platformsTravel extensively to active job sites nationwide, including overnight and extended assignmentsSupport startup, ramp-up, and critical project phases as assignedAdapt quickly to new sites, teams, and project conditionRequired Qualifications7+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experienceMinimum 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent-level roleStrong working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industry best practicesProven ability to read and execute from blueprints, one-lines, and construction documentsExperience managing large crews and coordinating multiple tradesProficiency with field technology and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide
