Job Description
Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent with 5 or more years of commercial electrical construction experience. The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for the day‑to‑day scheduling and field coordination of all aspects of the electrical and low‑voltage systems scope of projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute system start‑up, test, and commissioning.
- Support both pre‑construction and the project team in reviewing trade partners' proposals, schedules, and logistics.
- Manage the installation of electrical, HVAC, automation, plumbing, process piping, low‑voltage systems, fire/life safety, and fire protection design/construction coordination.
- Participate in review of electrical related shop drawings and submittals.
- Assist in development of full commissioning plans that identify all test requirements, inspections, factory start‑up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, documentation requirements, and integrated test plans.
- Provide onsite construction support for electrical systems and oversee start‑up, balancing, commissioning, and validation certification, including owner training and project closeout.
- Develop and oversee project‑specific electrical quality and safety programs, including safety cause mapping for post‑electrical safety events.
- Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.
- Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants.
- Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones.
- Lead EIG/DPR’s injury‑free environment safety program.
- Coordinate subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and resource‑loading with DPR’s self‑perform work crews.
- Represent EIG field operations as primary interface with owner and design team.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong grasp of electrical construction concepts and applicable codes.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues related to electrical design and construction.
- Ability to run complex meetings with multiple attendees, issue minutes promptly, and follow up for deliverables.
- Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and their integration with mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Good understanding of the test and balance process and requirements.
- Good understanding of building automation systems and sequences as they relate to MEP.
- Good understanding of electrical related safety regulations.
- Ability to contribute to a culture of safety in a construction environment.
- Proficient in current virtual design and construction software.
- Experience with CPM scheduling and lean pull planning processes; knowledge of Primavera P6 preferred.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam.
- Comfortable in an open and collaborative working environment.

Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to and from the office and assigned job site(s).
