Job Description
CJR Renewables is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction and installation activities on a utility‑scale renewable energy project. The selected candidate will start in the Houston office before relocating to the project site in Alamogordo, NM.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities in the field
- - Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications
- - Manage subcontractors and crews performing electrical installation
- - Coordinate with project management, QA/QC, and safety teams
- - Track progress, resolve field issues, and report on daily/weekly production
- - Enforce OSHA and site‑specific safety requirements
- - Support commissioning and punch‑list close‑out activities
Compensation & Logistics
- Salary budgeted at $130,000 (flexible for strong candidates)
- - Per diem of $120/day, 7 days/week (except during rotation, when CJR covers rotation travel and no hotel is booked)
- - Company truck provided for work‑related use once on site in Alamogordo
Qualifications
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in utility‑scale renewable energy construction (solar or BESS preferred)
- - Prior US work experience required
- - OSHA 30 certification preferred
- - Willing to relocate to Alamogordo NM after onboarding in Houston
