Our client, a custom builder of medical vehicles and event transportation is seeking multiple Electrical Specialists/Electricians due to a completely new medical unit line of products. This client serves a large medical carrier and has created a new state of the art facility to efficiently refurbish and create new, patented Medical Trailers and Medical Units. This involves complete custom builds - nothing "off the shelf" - and all aspects of each unit is built in house in New Berlin, WI. This is truly a "cool" place to work - literally, as the 85Ksq.ft. facility is fully climate controlled - AND incorporates refurbished units to train staff and NEW custom builds with high-tech features within the medical realm. This role pays $25-$35 per hour based on experience and comes with a full benefit plan. Hours are standard at 6am -2:30pm with flexibility and ability for optional overtime.

Electrical Specialists/Electricians work in teams with Carpenters and Fabricators to build a variety of medical trailers and stand alone units that require "power" in a variety of unique ways related to medical services provided by each unit. The incumbent of this role must possess some experience with both common AC wiring and automotive style DC wiring and will also:
- Read electrical blueprints/drawings for light, switch, and outlet layouts.
- Work with 480V, 240V, transfer switches, generators, HVAC systems, humidifiers, and emergency systems.
- Terminate wiring, Install switches and devices, Commission systems, troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Pre-wire trailers and units, run and pull cabling, label wiring, install panels in a variety of locations within each custom unit.
- Provide interpretation of wire diagrams and install:
- A variety of Hospital/Emergency type power including Emergency Buttons, Handicap Buttons, MRI Safelights, Humidifiers, HVAC controls, and PLCs
- AC circuits for a variety of uses (TV's, roof top HVAC units, inlet power supply, 120v/240v converters, vehicle generators, & transformers).
- DC circuits for pumps, sensors, LED lights, roof top fans, refrigerators, battery chargers, battery disconnect, light power supply, switches, dimmers, and low voltage.
- Breaker panel layout/landing for AC and DC circuits.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and a variety of codes (Medical, State, City and Nationwide).
- Create custom cuts/panels using different metals/enamels to become a wire chase, cover plate, template, bracket or display for switches or gauges.
- Precisely cut-in holes for electrical usage in finished material.
- 3+ years experience performing in role that requires wiring or electrical competency.
- 1+ years experience with both common AC wiring and automotive style DC wiring.
- Experience or education with 480V, 240V, transfer switches, generators, HVAC systems, humidifiers, and emergency systems
- Understanding of electrical wiring techniques and methods of installation and construction/build.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams.
- Electrical or wiring certification or education is desired but NOT required.

- $25hr = Entry/ Lower-Level Electrical Candidates will "ROUGH IN/SET-UP and pull all cabling"
- Basic electrical experience, electrical installer, setup technician, or apprentice that actually performed electrical work or has this education
- Will be trained, but initial work will be to: Pre-wire units, Run and Pull cable, Label wiring, Installing panels
- THE "IN BETWEEN" OF LOWER AND HIGHER LEVEL pays a range of $26hr-$29hr based on their varies experience level
- $30-$35hr Higher-Level Electrical Candidate will "STARTUP/TERMINATE all the wiring to specific codes" (Test to pass inspection)
- Can handle the more technical side of the build will have 5+ years of experience or a Journeyman background/certification.
- Work will be to: Terminate wiring, Install switches and devices, Commission systems, Troubleshoot issues to assure inspection will be passed, Work with 480V, 240V, transfer switches, generators, HVAC systems, humidifiers, emergency systems, etc.
