G&G Electric is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of service calls-primarily residential, with commercial calls as they come in-from diagnosing and repairing electrical issues to performing routine maintenance and small installations. You'll be working directly with clients, so professionalism, communication, and efficiency are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform service calls primarily for residential properties, with occasional commercial calls (retail, offices, light industrial)
- Install outlets, lighting, panels, breakers, and related components
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide exceptional service
- Complete accurate documentation of work performed
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Be available for occasional on-call/emergency calls, particularly around holidays
- Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License with TDLR
- 4+ years of Lead Service Technician experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Great communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must pass a background check
