Electrical Senior Superintendent

Our client, a leading electrical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial projects, is seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale electrical construction projects.

This leadership role is responsible for driving project execution, maintaining a safe and productive jobsite, coordinating field teams, and partnering closely with Project Management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who excels at building high-performing teams, solving complex challenges, and delivering quality work on technically demanding projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead all field operations on large commercial electrical construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Direct and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and productivity.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor budgets, schedules, forecasts, and overall project performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to proactively identify and resolve field challenges.
• Manage project logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination to support successful project delivery.
• Oversee quality control, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Review RFIs, change orders, and field documentation while ensuring accurate as-built drawings are maintained.
• Build strong working relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Identify project risks early and implement solutions that minimize schedule or cost impacts.
• Maintain consistent communication between field operations and project management teams.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience with progressively increasing field leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading large commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination.
• Experience managing multiple field supervisors and large craft workforces.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Preferred Experience

• Ground-up commercial construction.
• Data centers, mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, power generation, or water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience working on projects valued at $20M+ .
• OSHA 30 or other safety certifications.
