Project Manager / EstimatorA well-established electrical contractor is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to support affordable housing and multifamily electrical construction projects throughout the Bay Area. This hybrid role is responsible for both preconstruction estimating and project management, working closely with field leadership, clients, vendors, and subcontractors from bid through project closeout.Projects primarily include affordable housing, multifamily, mixed-use, podium, wrap, and other commercial electrical construction. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with a strong project backlog, long-standing reputation, and recent investment that continues to expand its capabilities and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare complete electrical estimates and bid proposals for commercial and multifamily projectsPerform quantity takeoffs and review plans, specifications, and bid documentsSolicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor quotationsManage awarded projects from kickoff through closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecastsReview and negotiate change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentationCoordinate with owners, general contractors, field teams, vendors, and subcontractorsMonitor project progress, financial performance, procurement, and schedulingParticipate in project meetings and maintain strong client relationshipsSupport successful project execution while maintaining quality, safety, and budget objectivesCollaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth turnover from preconstruction into constructionRequirements5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Estimator, or Project Manager / EstimatorExperience with commercial, multifamily, affordable housing, mixed-use, podium, or wrap construction projectsAbility to prepare electrical estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposalsExperience managing electrical construction projects from award through closeoutStrong understanding of electrical systems, construction documents, contracts, and project financialsExperience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and subcontractor coordinationAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specificationsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with estimating software, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software preferredExperience with ServiceTitan or similar project management platforms is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOVehicle allowance or company vehicle (based on position)Strong pipeline of affordable housing and multifamily projectsOpportunity to join a well-established electrical contractor with long-term career growthRecent investment in new technology and estimating systems to support continued expansion
