Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Salary Rate: $120,000 - $160,000 (salary depends on experience)
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of active electrical construction projects from award through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and overall execution
- Coordinate directly with General Contractors and project stakeholders
- Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Attend OAC meetings and proactively drive project progress
- Protect project profitability and ensure timely approval of all extra work
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-builts, and final billing
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience independently managing electrical construction projects as a Project Manager or Project Engineer
- Proven experience on K-12, school district, campus, or other educational facility projects
- Strong knowledge of change orders, pay applications, subcontract management, and GC communication
- Able to step into an active project and lead without training or extensive oversight
- Experience managing occupied renovations, phased construction, and school calendar-driven schedules preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to pass a school district background check
- Based in the Greater Houston area or willing to work on projects throughout the region
