Project ManagerThe Project Manager will oversee commercial/industrial electrical projects from preconstruction to finish. The PM will be responsible for the projects budget, scheduling, contract documents, safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction. The PM will also be responsible for managing all subcontractors on-site as well as directing the Superintendent.Description:Reads and interprets blueprints, inspection reports, specifications, etc.Assemble bid packets and select vendors for specific projectsPerforms accurate project takeoffsExperience with project budgeting and schedulingKnowledge of basic construction practices and project management techniquesNegotiates, tracks, and approves change orders in a timely mannerPossesses knowledge of OSHA site safety guidelinesAbility to manage and supervise Superintendent, subcontractors, and vendorsProficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyCoordinates with Superintendent to ensure project completion to specificationsAbility to work with sensitive deadlinesAbility to travel to site specific projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on project experienceDistribution Center project experience a plusKnowledge of NEC code requirements and safety guidelinesProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to work with within a team, with upper management, and with subordinatesStrong client relations skills are a must to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat businessEffective problem-solving skills, and ability to make time sensitive decisions
