Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Work with Estimators and/or Project Managers to prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) package(s) during the preparation of a Bid
- Qualify and log each proposal as it is received, per Bid
- Work with Estimator and/or Project Managers to prepare Request for Information (RFI) during the preparation of a Bid or construction of a project
- Log and track status of RFI's, per Bid or Project
- Work with Estimators and/or Project Managers to prepare submittal packages cross referenced to specific specification sections, drawing sheets, etc.
- Log and track status of submittals, per Project
- Work with Estimators and/or Project Managers to process equipment orders
- Log and track status of orders, per Project
- Work with Estimators and/or Project Managers to process Change Order Requests (COR) and Change Orders
- Log and track status, per Project

- Professional appearance and interaction with employees
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Clean criminal background and credit history
- Must be a self-motivated individual
- Must pass drug screening and background check (pre-employment and random)
Skills
- Proficient in the use of the following relevant software packages:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- AutoCAD
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
- 3-5 years of experience in construction industry, electrical preferred (with references)
