Electrical Project Engineer

Position Summary

Our client, a leading company in the utility and heavy construction space, is seeking an Electrical project Engineer to support engineering and project management teams on active construction projects. This role blends project controls, engineering, procurement coordination, and ERP administration for someone who thrives on detail and process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering and procedural plans, and identify project enhancement / value engineering opportunities
• Prepare and track project submittals
• Facilitate the Change Order process; prepare monthly budget analysis and cost-to-complete projections
• Manage CPM schedule baseline and update
• Assist with project purchase orders and subcontract
• Ensure all project materials are approved, delivered, and tracked accordingly
• Coordinate with the finance department to prepare, review, and evaluate monthly costs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the energy construction space
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience with ERP management and process improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard business application
