Electrical Project EngineerThe Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for managing electrical CAPEX projects from concept through commissioning in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards and project governance processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical engineering activities through project definition, execution, startup, and ramp-upDevelop engineering scopes, design criteria, schedules, cost estimates, and risk analysesCoordinate contractor bid processes, RFIs, evaluations, and selectionsTrack project costs, schedules, materials, and construction progressSupport testing, commissioning, and startup activitiesCoordinate outages and construction activities with operations and maintenance teamsEnsure compliance with EHS, quality, cost, and schedule requirementsCommunicate project status and risks to stakeholders and project leadershipCapture lessons learned and support continuous improvement effortsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering2–5 years of experience managing electrical CAPEX projects in a heavy industrial environmentWorking knowledge of ladder logic, HMI software, and industrial electrical systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills
