Electrical Project Director

Due to continued growth a $1B+, Top ENR national electrical contractor seeking an experienced Data Center Electrical Project Director to lead major hyperscale developments across Ohio.

Headquartered in the Midwest, the business is one of the largest electrical contractors in the US, specialising in complex, large-scale electrical infrastructure.

With more than 100 years of industry heritage, the company has established itself as a leading contractor in the data center market, working directly with some of the world's largest hyperscalers and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, budgets and profitability.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement and resource allocation.
• Manage relationships with hyperscale clients, developers and General Contractors.
• Ensure projects meet critical safety, quality and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate large-scale electrical manpower and field operations.
• Identify commercial opportunities, manage project risks and drive operational performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience leading electrical construction projects within the data center or mission-critical sector.
• Previous experience at Project Director, Senior Project Manager or equivalent leadership level..
• Strong commercial understanding, including P&L ownership, forecasting and project controls.
• Experience leading and developing large project management and field teams.
• Strong relationships with hyperscalers, developers and major General Contractors advantageous.
• Ability to manage complex projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
