Electrical Plant Maintenance Technician Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 27.00 to $ 38.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Sunday through Saturday)

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and automation systems to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.

Maintain and Support:

• Automated production equipment
• Electrical and electronic systems
• Overhead cranes
• Mobile equipment
• Utility systems
• Building electrical and lighting systems
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Create and manage calibration work orders according to established schedules and procedures.
• Use SAP and E-Merge systems to track maintenance activities and manage parts inventory.
• Troubleshoot and respond to major equipment failures and plant breakdowns as needed.

Electrical Plant Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Technical degree in Electrical Technology, Electronic Technology, or related field
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems
• Ability to pass a physical examination and complete a practical/theoretical maintenance test

Required Technical Experience:

• Allen-Bradley PLCs
• DC Motors (GE & Reliance)
• AC Motors (GE, Baldor, and similar)

Preferred:

• Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives and VFDs Instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure, level, and flow devices)
• IBA Analyzer software and process trending
• Electrical switchgear, MCCs, and contactor cabinets
• Industrial automation and instrumentation systems
• SAP and E-Merge maintenance systems

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
