Machine Tool ElectricianWe currently have a full-time and permanent position available for an experienced machine tool electrician.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble, test, tear down and package assigned componentsFit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, and directionRedline prints and sketchesConstruct, wire, rebuild and repair electrical cabinets, panels, and components using hand tools, power tools and metersVerify parts to stock list and blueprintsUse measuring instruments, such as VOMs, tapes, and rulers, levelsLayout location details and through holes on parts and assemblyConstruct supports, stands, and framesAssemble for sequencing of functionality to meet customer specified product performanceMake final adjustments during performance testing to meet specificationsTear down and package of equipment for safe shippingPerform ring outs and IO conformationFollow all safety guidelines of the companyOther duties as assignedEducation/Skills/ExperienceRequired:Minimum of 2 years of panel wiring experienceDemonstrable electrical aptitudeProven ability to drill and tapHistory of meeting project timelinesAbility to successfully troubleshootDemonstrate proper wiring assembliesDemonstrate proper panel layoutsAbility to read prints, diagrams, general assembly, and line drawingsGood written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license with a record that allows you to be covered by company insuranceAbility to self-motivate or work as a teamMust own basic toolsPreferred:Experience working at customer sitesForklift experienceAssociates degree in related field or equivalent experienceIn addition to competitive pay, the position also includes benefits such as healthcare, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
