Electrical-Mechanical TechnicianOur Global Manufacturing client is looking to add an Electrical-Mechanical Technician to their team. The candidate will perform a wide range of technical duties supporting the assembly, installation, and service of industrial equipment. This role offers variety, hands-on work, and cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities Include:Assemble machines and perform electrical and mechanical installationsCreate and interpret electrical drawings and documentationPerform machine startup, debugging, testing, and commissioning to ensure successful project completion and on-time deliveryTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systemsCollaborate with Sales, Service, Machine Build, and Engineering teams to address customer needs and resolve issuesTravel to customer sites to install, evaluate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment as requiredComplete project reports and documentation in a timely mannerYou will follow all company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in required training.
Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.Qualifications & Education RequirementsTechnical degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology (preferred) with 3 years of experience in machine assembly or electrical troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematicsStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systemsProficiency with measurement and diagnostic tools (micrometers, calipers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.)Knowledge of basic electrical drafting and designExperience with AutoCAD; Allen-Bradley and Siemens programming software; and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)SAP and Salesforce experience is a plusAbility to follow ISO procedures related to quality and job performanceAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
