Job TitleResponsible for installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems for the physical structures and production equipment by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Accountabilities:Troubleshoot automated metal working machineryBasic knowledge of electrical fundamentalsKnowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codesBasic knowledge of arc flash standardsInstallation of electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac and 480vacAbility to plan installations based on requirements listed on machine name platesAbility to bend and install electrical conduit and wire, install breaker panels and junction boxes, and terminate all wiringMaintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panelsInstall/maintain all plant lightingMaintain 1 line drawing for main electrical system and trace and mark individual circuits in panelsAbility to use basic hand tools including saws, drills and other common toolsAssist other areas of facility maintenance when necessaryWork within a team environment to achieve the current goal for facility maintenanceAbility to use computer systems to use work order system and find repair partsMaintain 5s in all maintenance and facility areasOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic troubleshooting, mechanical, PLC, electrical, and fabricationElectrical knowledge and experienceCurrent South Carolina Master Electrician License is preferredEducation and Experience:Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Work Environment/Physical Demands:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
