Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of electrical systems within residential apartments and commercial projects. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring that our projects are completed safely and efficiently. Must reside in New Jersey or Staten Island.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment (ammeters, ohmmeters, etc.) to perform electrical tasks with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support installation and troubleshooting efforts.
• Setup low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and tests of electrical components, identify issues, and report findings for further action.
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, especially concerning the handling of both low and high voltage electrical systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports and repair logs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician, including familiarity with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
• Construction site experience is preferred to understand the demands of active project environments.
• Competence in using testing devices accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
• Knowledge in frame carpentry is a plus for supporting structural aspects of installations.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
• MUST have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Must reside in NEW JERSEY or STATEN ISLAND.
