Electrical Maintenance TechnicianAn Electrical Maintenance Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of industrial electrical systems by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as motors, wiring, and controllers. With a focus on pioneering image science, innovation, and collaboration with industry partners and customers, Miraclon is committed to the future of Flexo and continues to be positioned to lead the charge.Key ResponsibilitiesPreventative Maintenance & Inspection: Routinely inspects electrical systems, circuits, motors, and panels to identify hazards or defects before they cause failures.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnoses malfunctions using testing devices (voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes) and repairs/replaces faulty wiring, breakers, or components.Installation & Upgrades: Installs new electrical systems, conduits, and equipment, following blueprints, schematics, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).System Testing: Tests the performance of electrical systems and components to ensure they operate efficiently.Documentation: Maintains accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience (often 3-5+ years) as a maintenance electrician in industrial or commercial environments.Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of electrical systems (120v-480v three-phase), PLC troubleshooting, and motor controls.Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).Tools: Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.Common QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; certification in electrical maintenance or completion of an apprenticeship is often preferred.Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comprehensive Benefits Include:Health, Dental and VisionFlexible vacation policy401KLife Insurance
