Electrical Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Position Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical systems, production equipment, and facility machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role also supports preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and electrical installations to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Build and install control panels and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete electrical and basic mechanical repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records, manuals, and work orders.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed (training provided).
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Assist with equipment installations and support maintenance projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Technical training in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Previous maintenance or electrical experience preferred; training available.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• PLC experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
