It's a Career.At DECO, Electrical Maintenance Technicians have opportunities to expand their expertise in:Automation SystemsRobotics and Robotic TroubleshootingPLC Programming and TroubleshootingHMI SystemsElectrical ControlsVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Industrial NetworkingProcess ImprovementTechnical LeadershipWhat You'll DoAs an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain and improve the electrical systems that support DECO's manufacturing operations.Responsibilities include:Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and industrial equipmentDiagnose electrical and control system issues to minimize downtimeSupport automated production equipment, robotics, PLCs, and HMI systemsPerform preventive and predictive maintenance activitiesRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagramsInstall and wire machinery, controls, and electrical components according to applicable codes and standardsTest electrical systems using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipmentWork with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliabilityMaintain compliance with electrical codes, safety practices, and company standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facilityPreferred QualificationsMinimum two years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience troubleshooting industrial machinery and control systemsPLC programming and troubleshooting experience preferredExperience working with HMI systems preferredKnowledge of industrial electrical systems from 24VDC through 480V three-phase powerIndustrial Electrician degree preferredElectrical license or Journeyman certification preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attendance and reliabilityBuild Your Future at DECOWe're looking for skilled technicians who enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies, and making an impact every day.
