The Opportunity
* Lead Electrical design for water/wastewater projects
* Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in the regional design centers that are supporting project detailed design
* Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations
* Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services
* Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and driver
Additional Project Opportunities
* Studies Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
* Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
* Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs
* Review of supplier submittals
* Act as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams for I&C design
* Start up and testing of major electrical equipments
Preffered Qualifications
* Professional Engineers license
* 5+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services
* Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred
* Experience in medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, including variable frequency drives and standby diesel generators
* Understanding of PLC hardware and software setup, network configuration, HMI, SCADA system, instrumentation and fiber optic cabling
* Experience in a client-facing/business development role
* Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus
Required Qualifications
* Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
* Minimum of 5 years related work experience
