General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson to support automotive manufacturing operations in our Skilled Labor department. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical systems, tooling and production equipment used to build GM vehicles, including EV components. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, perform precision alignments, conduct preventative maintenance and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll support continuous improvement, minimize downtime and uphold GM’s strong culture of safety, integrity, inclusion and innovation.
