General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson to support our Automotive Skilled Labor team. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production and facilities equipment.
Responsibilities include reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, precision alignment, welding and fabrication, and safely operating machine tools and lift equipment. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve equipment reliability, support continuous improvement initiatives and document work in a CMMS, while upholding GM’s strong safety and quality standards.
