General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson to support Automotive Skilled Labor operations. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical systems, machinery and tooling in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You’ll diagnose mechanical and pneumatic issues, read blueprints and schematics, perform precision alignment, and complete preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability, support launches for new EV and advanced vehicle programs, and uphold GM’s culture of safety, integrity, inclusion and innovation.
