General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson to support our automotive manufacturing operations. In this Skilled Labor role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, production machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics and tooling to keep equipment safe, reliable and efficient. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose root causes, and document work in CMMS systems.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help improve uptime, quality and safety while supporting GM’s transition to advanced EV and autonomous vehicle manufacturing in a culture of integrity, inclusion and innovation.
