Our team is designing a flight critical, custom avionics system to support communications, compute, AI, power, telemetry, and all other needed aircraft systems.This role is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for integrating avionics systems, sensors, actuators, and payloads onto the XBAT and Launch and Recovery vehicle ensuring from concept through production.What you'll do:Support integration of avionics systems, sensors, actuators, and payloads into the aircraft and launch/recovery vehicleAssist in harness designSupport hardware bring-up, integration testing, and debuggingParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective actionsCreate and maintain integration documentation, test procedures, and verification reportsWork closely with mechanical, embedded, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration challengesSupport environmental and qualification testing of flight hardwareContribute to continuous improvement efforts across hardware development projectsRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)0–3 years of relevant industry or internship experienceStrong fundamentals in electrical systems and hardware integrationHands-on experience working with embedded systems, sensors, or power systems (academic projects acceptable)Comfort working with lab equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, etc.)Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to work hands-on with hardwareAbility to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environmentAbility to obtain a S//SAR level security clearance desired.$91,660 - $137,490 a yearFull-time regular employee offer package:Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + EquityTemporary employee offer package:Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
