Electrical Installer
Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical installation, electrical assembly, or a related manufacturing environment. Experience working with DC power systems. Experience routing, securing, and terminating electrical cable. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Working knowledge of electrical components, connectors, panel boxes, and wiring practices. Ability to use standard electrical installation tools and testing equipment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Previous experience in: Aviation Automotive Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Experience installing electrical systems on large mobile equipment or industrial machinery.
Job Description: This role is for an experienced Electrical Installer who will help build and install electrical systems on large industrial equipment. The person in this position will work with low-voltage DC electrical components, including wiring equipment, building and installing electrical control panels, routing cables, and making electrical connections. They will use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to ensure everything is installed correctly and safely. The Electrical Installer will inspect and test their work, troubleshoot any wiring or installation issues, and work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to keep projects on schedule. Attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality are essential for success in this role.
Location: Chesapeake VA. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Overtime: Optional overtime available on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays
Compensation: $22/hr-$27/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
