This role involves confirming compliance with project design and specifications, industry standards for electrical systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of electrical installations while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Monitor the installation of wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, and power systems to confirm proper executionOversee testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systemsConduct detailed inspections of electrical installations, materials, and equipment for adherence to contract specifications, codes, and safety standardsCoordinate with other inspectors and disciplines to resolve electrical system integration issuesReview contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specificationsIdentify, document and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actionsConduct labor interviews to verify proper worker classification and wage complianceImmediately notify contractors and relevant officials of any potentially life-threatening safety conditionsMaintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality assurance and compliance trackingOversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeoutsWitness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-upsVerify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specificationsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsHS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationExperience with local codesExperience with construction methods and techniquesPreferred Requirements:BA/BS in Construction, Electrical engineering or equivalent certification.
