nThis is an entry level FPGA Engineer 1 role. This role is onsite, in Melbourne, FL.
nWhat You Will Do:
n- n
- You will do requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability and work on ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC digital architecture development and design. n
- You will develop RTL design code and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog. n
- You will create testcases and test procedures for verification environments using SystemVerilog or VHDL. n
- You will create placement and timing constraints and you will perform synthesis, place and route. n
- You will perform static timing analysis, linting analysis, LEC, and clock-domain-crossing analysis and perform ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC verification using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods. n
- You will work on the creation of DO-254 certification artifacts for Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH). n
Qualifications You Must Have:
n- n
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained prior to start. n
- Experience writing RTL and testbenches using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog. n
- Experience using FPGA specific tools (e.g. Questasim, Vivado, Libero, Synplify Pro, etc.). n
- Experience with Linux (or Unix), scripting, C/C++, Python, and/or Perl. n
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

- Ability to work with supervision, as part of a team of engineers with a variety of skills and backgrounds, located throughout the world and matrixed into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones. n
- Experience with DO-254 processes and design assurance activities for ASIC, FPGA, and/or MPSoc developments. n
- Experience with data interfaces (PCIe, DDR, I2C, Ethernet, CDN, ARINC-429, etc.). n

nThe salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
