Electrical ForemanFelix Construction is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews in the construction of water/wastewater treatment facilities. This hands-on role involves planning, directing, and executing electrical work on industrial projects. Ideal candidates are strong communicators with advanced field experience and a commitment to safety, quality, and mentoring others.What You'll Be DoingLead electrical crews in the installation and wiring of RTUs, VFDs, LCPs, switchgear, field instrumentation, and other industrial equipment.Interpret and execute work packages, electrical drawings, and MOPOs (Method of Procedure).Ensure crews follow all safety procedures, conduct daily safety briefings, and maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA 70, and company safety protocols.Coordinate material delivery, inspect inventory, and manage tools and equipment on-site.Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to meet daily and weekly goals aligned with project schedules.Provide training and mentorship to less experienced electricians and laborers.Track crew hours and complete weekly timecards accurately.Who You AreHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship preferredAt least 8 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacityOSHA 10 certification requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSkilled in reading blueprints, ladder diagrams, and electrical schematicsFamiliar with conduit bending and installation (½" to 4"), switchgear setup, and control wiringComfortable using smartphones and tablets for jobsite documentationClear communicator with inspectors, engineers, and cross-functional teamsWork Environment and Physical Demands:This position requires working on construction sites in extreme temperatures.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus.
