Responsible for maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials and any other activities impacting the successful completion of the project.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage crews on various projects, providing direction to ensure work is performed safely, and delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with quality standardsResponsible for maintaining productivity, quality control, and proactive procurement of materials and other activities related to successful completion of the projectCoordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met and any changes or challenges are effectively addressedRead and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of electrical systemsEnsure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulationsMonitor project progress, track material usage, and maintain accurate documentation of work performedTroubleshoot issues and implement corrective measures as neededMentor and train electrical apprentices and team membersQualificationsMinimum of 8 years in the commercial electrical field with increasing responsibilityCurrent Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman LicenseExperience related to scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durationDemonstrated ability to plan effectively, order and track materials and perform cost projectionsUnderstanding of National Electrical Code and installation methodsKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautionsOutstanding communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high quality workmanshipStrong PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft office and project planning tools
