The Foreman is responsible for the preparation and installation of electrical systems. Additionally, the Foreman ensures the team works in a clean and working together environment. The primary function of the Electrical Foreman is to produce quality work in a safe and productive manner.Primary Duties:Installs electrical switchgear, fixtures, raceways, conductors, devices and other electrical work in commercial, institutional and public buildingsReads and interprets blue print drawingsEffectively communicates, manages and leads assigned crew membersWorks with the Superintendent and Project Manager well as a teamMaintains a clean and safe working environmentHas a good understanding on how to operate the tools in a safe and efficient mannerReports to the jobsite Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and additional hours as necessaryMaintains constant communication with the Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman and SuperintendentMaintains a professional working relationship with the General ContractorsQualifications and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseMust have a current Texas Journeyman Card4 years of commercial electrical experienceMust be a good communicator, verbal and writtenMust be self-motivated, hardworking and reliableMust have general knowledge of electrical systems and the desire to advanceE-Verify, background check, physical and drug screen requiredAble to work in fast paced environments and accomplish tasks in a timely mannerAbility to regularly lift 25 poundsWorks well in a team environmentElectrical tools requiredBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusKilgore Industries, LP offers competitive compensation packages, weekly direct deposited paychecks, paid company holidays, 401K plan, as well as health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/ AD&D, STD, LTD and supplemental life insurance.
