Tasks which are expected to be performed include but are not limited to:Ensure appropriate staffing levels are requested for the daily required tasks to be completedDeploy personnel as necessary and in the best interest of the existing workflow on a daily basisEnsure special equipment needs are requestedInterpret job drawings to facilitate install of electrical systemEstablish material list and ensure adequate material is ordered and on site to accommodate daily workflowEstablish weekly benchmark objectives towards completion of jobEnsure project benchmarks are achieved and job schedule is maintainedMay attend project meetings and communicate information to PM and field supervisorMaintain familiarity with the plans, schedule and expectations for jobAid and oversight of safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.This position will be expected to promote an emphasis on creating a team oriented, positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communicationCommunicate job progress and job needs to PMMaintain oversight of job status and communicate anticipated problemsEnsure inspections status; scheduled and completedEducation, training and experience:This position should have a minimum of 4 years experience completing project installation of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry.Experience working in the field coordinating multiple tasks and functions, while providing supervision of assigned personnel is common practice.Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors are all areas which will benefit from experience.Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position.Physical and Other Requirements for an Electrical Foreman:Must be able to sit, bend, stoop.Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.Must be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demandsThis Electrical Foreperson position will be a field deployable resource and will be assigned to working job sites for the purpose of coordinating and overseeing activities of the crew members under the supervision of this position.Employment Type:Full-Time4-day work week preferredHighly competitive wages depending on skillset.Please note the selected candidate will be required to submit to full pre-employment background and drug screening.
