Electrical ForemanAndover, MA - Andover, MA 01810OverviewSalary Range $45.00 - $60.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Category ConstructionDescriptionPosition Summary: The Electrical Foreman will participate and oversee the installation or maintenance and inspection of large electrical projects, systems and supervise team members including sub-contractors.Role and ResponsibilitiesRegular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sitesAct as a team leader in the execution of electrical workOversee and audit site safely and quality control programsOversee and coordinate any sub-contractors work that may be working under the electrical divisionCoordinate field trade activities in accordance with the project schedule and help with developing the three weeks look ahead coordination schedules with all appropriate project team participantsDetect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisorsEnsure field installation compliance with all technical specifications, approved shop drawings & submittalsCoordinate equipment and specialty material deliveries and staging requirementsSupervise and participate in the installations of power, lighting, fire alarm, security, instrumentation and controls, UPS, generator and other related systemsAdditional duties as directed by managementQualificationsEssential Skills & Characteristics: Ability to work independently and lead a team of trade employees and apprentices Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers Strict adherence to all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner At times may perform clerical/administrative duties Participate in site housekeeping Assist, and coordinate with scheduled shutdowns, support associated on-site operational requirements Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, plans or specifications for work details or procedures Good documentation and record keeping; attention to detail and qualityEducational & Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or relevant work experience 10 years of field experience, journeyman, working leader Applicable state trade license OSHA 10 certification Knowledge of standard operations procedures (SOP's) Competency in permit required confined space Understanding and development of daily job hazard analysis (JHA) Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in industrial construction preferredAZ Corporation is an employee owned, tobacco-free, equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate based on marital status, race, color, creed, gender, sex, religion, national origin, gender identity, age, veteran status, union affiliation, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, or other legally protected status
