Electrical EstimatorTaylor, TX | Full-TimeOverviewDoota Industrial America is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator to support complex telecommunications and industrial projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate, competitive cost estimates and proposals that directly impact project awards and profitability.You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and business development to translate technical requirements into executable and cost-effective bids. This is a high-visibility role requiring precision, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze drawings, specifications, and RFPs to define full project scopePrepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractorsDevelop and submit competitive bids and proposals aligned with company margin targetsPerform quantity take-offs and validate pricing assumptionsSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotationsIdentify project risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunitiesCollaborate with engineering and project management to align estimates with execution strategyParticipate in bid reviews, scope clarifications, and client discussionsMaintain current pricing databases, historical cost data, and estimating toolsEnsure all estimates comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirementsSupport project handoff to operations, including scope alignment and budget validationTrack awarded vs.
