ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR - DIRECT HIRE
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $75,000/year
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a growing lightning protection company. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an estimator with commercial construction experience who can review construction drawings, perform accurate takeoffs, and develop competitive proposals for lightning protection and grounding projects.
ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.
- Analyze labor, material, and project requirements to develop competitive pricing.
- Clearly communicate project scope, pricing, exclusions, and clarifications to customers.
- Work closely with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating and project handoff process.
- Manage multiple estimates, bid deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Maintain organized and accurate estimating documentation, proposals, and project records.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience .
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings .
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word .
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Electrical or lightning protection estimating experience strongly preferred.
- Construction Management degree preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
COMPENSATION
$75,000/year
