Electrical Estimator (Data Center)

Location: Mesa, AZ or Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $120,000-$160,000 + truck allowance and gas card

A rapidly growing electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical facilities is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its team in Mesa, Arizona or Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects, with an emphasis on Data Centers.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents to develop detailed project estimates.
• Perform material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and leadership throughout the bidding process.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and scope review meetings as needed.
• Maintain accurate estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Assist in developing proposals and bid packages for clients.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Electrical Estimating experience.
• Proven experience estimating Data Center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience estimating large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required Software Experience

• Accubid
• Bluebeam/Revu
• Electrical Takeoff software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an electrical contractor.
• Familiarity with design-build and negotiated project delivery methods.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of current market pricing and procurement strategies.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
