Electrical Estimator PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join Lyons Electric, a subsidiary company of Potawatomi Ventures. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry pricing.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to develop detailed cost estimates.Contact vendors and subcontractors for pricing and bidsPrepare and submit bid proposals, including labor, materials, and time requirements.Assist in calculating labor, materials, and equipment costsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate scope and pricing.Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project conditions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, labor rates, and material costs.Track and document all estimation activities and maintain historical cost data.Identify potential cost risks and provide value engineering options.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required, Certification from respected electrical program.
