Electrical EstimatorFrom Design Build to Firm Fixed Price, our electrical contracting services provide turnkey electrical solutions to customers ranging from Federal Government to Consumers in the Private Sector. Our Estimating software utilizes state of the art take off methods, with the capabilities to produce well documented accurate estimates.Allegiance Industries is expanding and looking for an experienced and detailed-oriented Corporate Electrical Estimator who will join our Electrical Division out of Bladenboro, NC but could also be based in LaGrange, NC or Greenville, SC. This position will support multiple divisions throughout the Carolinas.Day to day:Develops accurate cost estimates from take?off to bid hand?off.Analyzes material and labor requirements to complete a project including onsite evaluations of jobsites to ensure accuracy.Attends pre?bid and scope review meetings.Computes and submit bids and performs bid reviews with Corporate Team members.Conduct meetings with engineers, customers, vendors, and project managers.Contacts vendors for competitive firm pricing.Analyze the costs impacts of various equipment solutions.Maintains the change order submissions/documents in an organized and standardized manner.Creates submittals based on specifications for each project, while working with team members to disseminate collective information.Works with DOEO, Division Managers and Project Managers on qualifying bidsKeep active bid tab and assist in business development based on current trends.Assists Project Management Team in Project Closeout and Customer Satisfaction.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBackground and Experience:6-8 years of estimating experienceElectrical license or equivalent experienceBachelor's degree a plusAble to work with and adapt to multiple Estimating Software programsKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage SystemsAbility to read and evaluate specifications and blueprintsAbility to deal effectively with customersAbility to analyze risks involved with certain project typesAbility to estimate large and small projectsAbility to work calmly under deadlines and external pressureExcellent math skillsStrong communication skillsStrong computer skills- and a competent understanding of all types of operating systemsWe offer:Rewarding career with a company that values the importance of work/life balancesRecognition for Integrity, Workmanship, and ResultsExcellent compensation package and comfortable work environmentPerformance bonusesGreat benefitsAllegiance is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
