Electrical Estimator IHunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Electrical Estimator I position to join our team in our Boise office. This role will focus on learning estimating processes and electrical systems.The Estimator I supports the estimating team by performing basic takeoffs, data entry, and document control.
This role works closely with our project managers, department and division managers, and foreman to complete estimations.Major Duties:Assist with quantity takeoffs and measurementsOrganize drawings, specifications, and addendaEnter data into estimating softwareRequest and track vendor pricingMaintain estimate files and documentationSupport senior estimators during bid preparationDemonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.Actively contributes to a positive team environment.Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.Be a self-starter and be dependable.Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.Minimum Qualifications:1–3+ years electrical construction experience or related educationBasic understanding of electrical systems preferredStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnKnowledge of electrical systems and construction methodsAbility to read plans and specificationsStrong math, analytical, and organizational skillsProficiency with estimating softwareTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsAs a full-time Electrical Estimator I, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).
