Overview
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor in Benson, Arizona responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance personnel while ensuring personnel safety, equipment reliability, and product quality across the facility. This individual will train and develop electrical maintenance staff in safety practices, equipment knowledge, and maintenance procedures, while planning, controlling, reviewing, and reporting maintenance costs for the department. They will collaborate closely with operations to maximize process efficiency, manage outages and projects; including coordinating and overseeing contractor-supported work and handle the scheduling, tracking, and execution of daily work‑group tasks and down‑day activities to support smooth and reliable plant operations.
Qualifications
Required:
* Proven track record as a leader regarding safety
* A preventive, condition-based approach to maintenance
* Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills and experience
* Experience with high levels of responsibility and decision making.
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Must be self-motivated and possess a strong desire for continuous improvement.
* Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or software Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent demonstrated competency in required areas.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Preferred:
* Prior hands-on maintenance experience in Steel Mill or Related Industry
* Electrical systems knowledge (PLCs, VFDs, Power Distribution - LV and MV)
* Experience programming SEL relays and using SEL relays for fault analysis
$100,000/yr to $150,000/yr.
