Job Title: Room Temperature Rack Engineer

Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on technician or engineer to support electronics rack assembly, instrumentation integration, RF hardware installation, networking, and laboratory operations for quantum hardware testing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, cable, label, and maintain electronics racks and rack-mounted instruments.
Install instrumentation, RF hardware, power distribution, and network-connected equipment.
Perform basic hardware, RF signal path, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
Use Python scripts for instrument control, configuration checks, automation, and data collection.
Maintain proper cable management, ESD safety, and technical documentation.
Support laboratory setup, rack upgrades, and installations, including travel as needed.
Required Skills
Hands-on electronics lab and rack assembly experience
2+ years of Python 3.x experience.
Basic networking knowledge, including DHCP and connectivity troubleshooting.
Familiarity with instrumentation cabling, power distribution, and ESD practices.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights when required.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of electronics laboratory experience.
Familiarity with RF hardware, RF cabling, and measurement instruments.
Experience with Python automation, custom libraries, or physics laboratory environments.
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant coursework.
