The primary responsibility is to provide clear communication, technical drive, and team leadership to maintain and mature engineering excellence within the group and be accountable for ensuring employee competence and engagement. This position is responsible for driving technical leadership in the development of EDA processes and methods; has the ability and passion for continuous technology and process improvement.Job Responsibilities/Results:Ambassador for EDA Engineering, considerations, trade-offs, and expectations, working with the entire new product development communityManage EDA staffStaff and develop the EDA team members and continuously improve themDevelop EDA processes and continuously improve themMeasure, track, and continuously improve EDA team performance.Represent EDA Engineering to Other Development Teams within R&D.Create and manage the annual budget for EDA Engineering headcount and spending per according to revenue.Job Requirements:Minimum Education, Certification and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a product development environment requiredMinimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience requiredHearing industry or medical device industry experience preferredKnowledge / Technical RequirementsIntermediate to advanced knowledge in electrical design (e.g.

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include: geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results.
