Electrical Engineering Associate
The Electrical Engineering Associate supports the Customer Order Engineering Group by developing, reviewing, and maintaining electrical design documentation for customer-specific orders. The role focuses on producing accurate electrical schematics, performing drawing reviews, creating Bills of Material (BOMs), and assisting production teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts based on Customer Order Documents.
- Perform critical drawing reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper revision control.
- Build and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) using ERP software, ensuring correct part data and routing.
- Support production by solving minor design problems, issuing and resolving ECR (change requests), and communicating issues and solutions to other departments
- Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to maintain design integrity.
Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic and wiring diagram creation using CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical or similar).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management.
- Solid understanding of electrical components, circuits, and control systems.
- Ability to manage high order volume with accuracy and urgency.
