However, they are not able to sponsor visas.Our client's Electrical Engineers provide technical expertise in all aspects of design, development, testing, troubleshooting, field support and installation of specified equipment as needed. It is a foundational-level engineering role with responsibility to effectively complete assigned objectives by creatively applying mentored guidance, core company solutions, and aligned industry and academic knowledge alike towards innovative solutions among tactical design, testing, and problem-solving initiatives.Description of Essential DutiesProvides services relating to the successful installation, start up and commissioning of converting equipment, traveling to the customer location, as requiredPerforms product testing (powering up and check-out function) and troubleshooting to certify converting equipment for customer acceptanceContributes to the design and layout of converting equipment electrical components and systemsAssess electrical component requirements and creation of BOM'sCreate and implement electric component control programs to provide for the proper function of PLC, HMI, motion, and message displayAssists with the coordination of assembly operations during equipment constructionJob Knowledge, Skills, and Ability RequirementsEducation generally equivalent to a (4) year Degree in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Science program or related discipline or equivalent training and experience0-3 years of engineering design experience with converting equipmentAbility to use PLC and motion control computer software (Logix 5000, Siemens TIA, Step 7, Bosch, Codesys)Ability to use Microsoft Office software (Excel, OneNote, Teams)Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with key customers electrical design, converting equipment assembly and operating issuesStrong analytic skills to troubleshoot equipment/processes and implement solutionsAbility to effectively utilize complex software for design, problem solving, and documentationAbility to use hand tools, basic electronic measuring devices and a laptop computer
