You'll play a pivotal role in developing test equipment and software used for maintaining Propulsion and Train Control Management System electronics, contributing to the efficiency and safety of railway systems.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, assemblers, purchasing, and quality assurance), ensure the application of testing standards during product development, and much more.We'll look to you for:Applying test principles and methods, including testability, test coverage, and test tool capacity.Gaining full technical understanding of the work assigned, including electronics domain analysis, troubleshooting, and component evaluation.Designing and maintaining test tools and means such as In-Circuit, JTAG, functional test benches, and programming in LabVIEW or C.Developing and maintaining test bench structures, ensuring effective debugging and troubleshooting.Applying safety principles with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) equipment.Crunching and analyzing data from test results to drive improvements.Supporting tender quotations for bench test projects.Guaranteeing the application of testing standards (DFT rules, standard test platform usage, maintenance rules) during product development to optimize productivity and test coverage.Defining software, hardware, and mechanical architecture for automated test benches in compliance with EHS Alstom and external standards.Developing new test rules and repair requirements to enhance productivity and test coverage.All about you:We value passion and attitude over experience.
