We're seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer who thrives in full product lifecycle development—from initial concept to high-volume manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a desire to contribute meaningfully to next-generation medical device innovation.What You'll DoOwn the design and development of schematic and PCB layouts, including flex and rigid-flex circuitsDevelop and test high-speed, multi-layer digital boards using Altium DesignerDesign switching power supply circuits and optimize power architectures for efficiency, reliability, and safetyIntegrate and troubleshoot wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and ARM-based MCUs/MPUsLead medical device design, ensuring adherence to IEC 60601 standards for safety and emissionsBuild and validate PCB test fixtures, and support functional testingDrive design for manufacturing (DFM) and scale products in partnership with contract manufacturersCollaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, quality, and regulatory teamsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent7+ years of relevant experience (medical device experience highly preferred)Strong background in:Schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium)High-speed digital design and signal integrityEmbedded systems using ARM processorsWireless circuit design (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi)Switching power supply designExperience with IEC 60601 or other safety/emissions testing standardsFamiliarity with design of test fixtures for hardware validationProven ability to scale hardware from prototype to production, ideally within a regulated industryPlease Note: Onsite only (5 days/week in Palo Alto) Visa sponsorship and relocation are not available This is a high-priority opening with immediate interview scheduling
