Mid-Level Electrical EngineerDirect hire, fully onsite in Southern NHJob Responsibilities:Design engineering for new and legacy productsImplementing hardware design based on requirements specificationsPerforming circuit analysis and simulations to ensure correct operation over all environmental factorsDevelop and implement hardware test plansDesigning and documenting interconnects and harnessesObserve requirements for design for manufacturing, test, field service and costInterface with other engineering teams, stakeholders and customers to understand the application space and business requirementsSupport current products finding design solutions to obsolete components and designsCommunicate with OEM manufacturers and third-party engineering partners to facilitate design and verification solutionsFollow best practices and procedures to improve design qualityParticipate in electrical and cross-functional design reviewsWorking hands-on with PLC's, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and/or other electrical hardwareData collection and processing, documenting, and reporting test resultsProviding understandable feedback to software and reliability engineersJob Requirements:Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Hardware verification. Master's Degree a plus.The ability to read and understand electrical/electronic schematicsThe ability to read and write simple to mid complexity VHDL code for an FPGAExperience with circuit design, analysis, and SPICE simulationsThe ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics (Experience with Altium a plus)Experience with common electronic instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, waveform generators, and precision multimetersExperience with PLC programming, Arduino, or custom hardware/software test bedExperience with communication protocols such as Ethernet, USB, Serial, SPI, I2CExperience with fine-pitch electronic circuit assembly and reworkExceptional attention to detail
